MyStartup Accelerator has decided on 6 startups

MYStartup Accelerator Programme is pleased to announce that six startups from Cohort 1 have received a total of US$348,000 (RM1.57 million) in investments from 17 angel investors.
Two other startups include Cult Creative, a networking platform that matches creatives with potential employers through data, and the other is, Products2U, a marketplace for underserved offline communities.
According to Cradle, the MYStartup Accelerator Program is an intensive enhancement program that supports startups of early stages through mentorship and partnership.
The program, which runs for six months up to December 2022, will allow participating startups to benefit from mentors and experts in various fields accordingly, covering topics such as business size and market access.
Additionally, participating companies would also have access to other partner benefits and resources, worth up to US$444,000 (RM2 million).
Cradle's acting CEO, Norman Matthieu Vanhaecke, said that the investment received by these startups are a sign of the confidence and trust potential investors have in the local startup ecosystem. "The commemoration of the signing ceremony shows Cradle's utmost support and commitment to building connections between startups and potential investors.", he notes.
Ahmad Kashfi Alwi, Cradle's Senior Vice President of Ecosystem Development, revealed that the company received over 500 applications for its first cohort. Among of which, Cradle selected 33 startups through a rigorous mentoring process with seasoned industry experts.

We will continue to implement programs like this to engage more investors and startups" said Ahmad Kashfi.
The second phase of this program will start in November 2022, with more focus on comprehensive technical areas.

- IPICK (www.ipick.com.my) An intercity parcel delivery service.
- ThreadX (www.zoradesigners.com) An Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) fashion platform.
